The spectre of human trafficking looms large over Chennai now after reports of such trafficking in the North captured headlines. With a view to curbing it, Central Intelligence has decided to maintain strict surveillance at all major airports to monitor MPs’ foreign visits and to list out those accompanying them. This was decided at a meeting conducted here by officials of the Emigration Department and airports. Chief protector of emigrants, Chennai, Abhikumar chaired the meeting today.
