An Indian Youth climbing Mount Everest for a great cause

Proud moment for each one of us – An Indian Youth climbing Mount Everest for a great cause

“STOP THE SILENCE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE”

Sandhosh, 26 year vibrant youth from Chennai ,who had achieved climbing several top mountains in the world , is climbing the ultimate Peak  in March 2010 – endeavoring to touch Everest that Tenzing and Hillary had touched.

(He has already scaled Mount Kilimanjaro ( 5895 m) in Mar 2008, Everest Base Camp ( 5545 m) in Mar 2009,  Mount Blanc (4810 m) in Jul 2009 and Mount Cho Oyu ( 8201 m) in Sep 2009.)

Child Abuse is a silent epidemic, creating social havoc for the children, adult survivors, and society at large. According to a recent survey, over 53% of children in India are victims of sexual abuse.  A press meet has been arranged to launch  ” MILLION PLEDGES” Program, to seek support for prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.

Your support with your presence will go a long way in encouraging young Indians like Sandhosh Kumar in channelising their energy in social activity.
