Veteran Tamil comedy actor Gundu Kalyanam, who has acted in over 750 movies so far in all Indian languages, turns director with a full-fledged comedy film titled Nalla Nalla Pillakalai Nambi being produced by a Dubai based businessman V.C .Rishiraj under the banner of Devatharu Film Theatres.
Having working with hundreds of talented directors in the industry, Gundu Kalyanan had a long cherished dream to direct a film and the actor is very happy that the dream finally comes true with the financial support of the producer V.C. Rishraj.

Gundu Kalyanan said that he and his daughter Janani will be playing meaty roles in the film which will start rolling on November 5. The film will be completed in a single schedule. The story is about a group of people who miss their way in a dense forest. How they return home forms the core of this comedy thriller.
