Jeeva has completed the entire movie except for 4 or 5 song sequences (May be 60 percent has completed). He met with an untimely death before he could complete the movie.
Director Jeeva’s sudden demise is still fresh in our minds. But there is already a lot of speculation as to who will take over his project Dhaam Dhoom. The producers are on the lookout for a new director and are expected to make an announcement soon.
Lots of names have been doing the rounds. Some say that Jeyam Raja, brother of Jeyam Ravi, might be directing the film. Others say that P.C. Sriram will be directing it film. There are also rumours floating that an associate of Jeeva may be considered.
However cinematographer P C Sreeram under whom Jeeva had apprenticed has agreed to finish the rest of the shoot.
P.C.Sriram has taken over the responsibility of filming these song sequences. He had stayed away from direction after ‘Vaanam Vasapadum’. But he has consented now out of love for his sishyan.
Jeeva had worked under P.C.Sriram and learnt the art from him. He was one of P.C.Sriram’s prime disciples and hence Sriram is now finishing up Jeeva’s work.
Sriram went through the movie taken so far, to follow the technique and style used by Jeeva so far. He is also involved in the editing.
The song sequences are to be filmed by the end of this month. Raju Sundaram is the dance master. Sriram is trying to film the songs in the same style as Jeeva.
It stars Jeyam Ravi and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles.
