We know that Ilayathalapathy Vijay has signed a movie with Aascar Ravichandran, which will be the Vijay’s 51st film. Vijay’s next movie will direct by Jeyam Raja, will reportedly be called Thalapathi.
Thalapath was the title of the Rajinikanth-Mammootty blockbuster movie and released in 1991. Thalapath movie produced by G.V.Films and directed by Mani Ratnam.
Sources say that the similarity ends with the title. While Thalapath movie dealt with the friendship between two gangsters and the new Vijay movie will be a family entertainer with loads of action. None other than Asin, it is being said, will star opposite Vijay.
Currently Vijay is happy that his 50th film Sura under Rajkumar’s direction has shaped up well and there is heavy competition among big production houses to purchase it outright.
