Ramana, the hero of hit films like Andha Naal Gnabagam and Nanayam turned Villain in a forthcoming film Thottupaar.
Produced by Tholpaavai Theaters, the movie starring newcomers Vidharth-Laxana in lead roles. Vidharth is the student from Koothu , one of the best training school for theater artists.
Thottuppaar is directed by debutant Nandhu, though he is a debutant, Nandhu has a vast experience as an ad film maker and director.
According to the director, the film is a perfect entertainer with all needy ingredients and the role of Villain will be the highlight of the film.
“Initially, I was hesitated to ask Ramana to do the role. After few thoughts, I requested him to do the baddie role in Thottu Paar. As I expected, he hasn’t accepted this offer immediately. But after heard the script completely, he convinced himself and gave dates without any second thought…”, he added.
Remember, young heroes like Prasanna and Sibiraj also jumped in to the area of Villains and doing such bad man roles in their forth coming films. Prasanna already got success in such role in Myshkin’s last flick Anjathey.
According to Ramana, there is no image barriers to him. He says, “Once I heard the script, I convinced completely and I hope, this role will be set my carrier in right direction… Thanks to Nandhu for offering this role”.
