But on pars, there happens to be another cohort that ardently believes in the mantra of good conceptualizations delivered with the right approach can win the laurels.

Appositely, director Keera’s motto remains the same as he strongly believes good themes close to everyone’s heart urges to reflect them.

This film ‘Pacchai Enginra Kaathu’ is a crystal-clear illustration of such motif as it has a heart-melting story of a youngster’s journey of life and death.

Synopsis:

‘Pacchai Enginra Kaathu’ is based on a real life incident of a 27yrs old youngster, who is no more now. This film is about a youngster’s wrong perception about political world that lets him drenched in convulsions. By nature, there are so many individuals with same nature, who aren’t aware that politics isn’t what they have perceived. We tend to notice so much of young lads raising banners for their political leaders, propagandizing for the parties and so on.

This film is one such instance that marks the life of a youngster ‘Pacchai Ramkumar’. The complete movie is focalized on a night, where his life is narrated from 7 individuals’ point of views.

About the film:

The film has been shot across the same locales where Pacchai Ramkumar lived in Manapaarai, Tiruchi, Perambalur and Kollimalai. Newcomer Vasagar, once an assistant director takes on the lead role of ‘Pacchai’ while newcomer Saranya stars opposite him in female lead. Kerala’s Appu Kutty Saravanan,, Bharath, Maruthai have donned prominent roles.

About the director:

Keera’s native name is Moorthy and is well known for his short fictions. With an intense interest for filmmaking, he assisted moviemakers – Sujith, V. Sekar and ‘Mugavari’ Durai. But his vast knowledge about films was acquired at the school of Thankar Bacchan.

His previous short films ‘Tamizhu’ based on sex-workers won award at Canada International Film Festival and ‘Vadhai’ based on Eelam Tamilians was lauded for the earnest theme.
