In September 2004, FitnessOne India was instituted with a single gym and many visions. By September 2005, the single gym in Chennai’s posh Alwarpet area began making its presence felt in six more locations, taking the count to seven. By late 2006, plans were afoot to open a new brand of gyms. By late 2006, plans were afoot to open a new brand of gyms. Early 2007 saw fitness equipment coming under the FitnessOne umbrella in the form of a new brand name – Propel. The division – called FitnessOne Factory – sells different brands of home and commercial equipment.
