Director Obeli N Krishna’s Pathu Thala starring Simbu, Gautham Menon, and Gautham Karthik is a mediocre remake of the Kannada film, Mufti. Silambarasan reprised Shiva Rajkumar’s role from the original version. Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Teejay Arunasalamm, and Anu Sithara in prominent roles.
Pathu Thala is produced by K.E.Gnanavelraja of Studio Green and Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios and is directed by Obeli N Krishna. The film features Silambarasan TR, Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Teejay Arunasalamm, Anu Sithara & others in the star cast. AR Rahman composed the music, Farook j Basha handled the cinematography, Praveen KL has taken care of editing and Milan is the art director of this film.
