Malai Malai movie directed by A Venkatesh, is a perfect recipie for a comercial movie. Even with a huge star cast backing him up, Arun Vijay gets ample oppurtunity to showcase his acting skills. It is definitely going to hit it right with the audience looking for some good entertaining movie.
Vetri Vel(Arun Vijay) and Palani Vel(Prabhu) are brothers. While the former drimes a minivan, the latter is a farmer. Vetri is in love with RJ Anjali(Vedhika) and Palani is in love with Lakshmi(Kasturi). Vetri goes to Chennai and joins a courier company as a van driver. There he befriends Vimala Haasan (Sandhanam) and Ganja Karuppu. To win over his lady love Vedhika who is in chennai, he locks horns with gangster Essaki (Prakash Raj).
Even though Essaki is Vetri’s childhood pal, there is no love lost between the two and after the loss of loved ones on the part of vetri, he takes revenge on Essaki.
With a simple story line to the boot, Malai Malai is a perfect mix of Masala, emotions and comedy. Everything is well executed in Malai Malai and all the star cast do their respective job with ease.
