Kavalar Kudiyiruppu directed by A.M.R Ramesh, who earlier made Kuppi. This movie has Kannada star Anish and new face Shruthi in the lead role. Another famous Kannada actor Avinash will also be seen in a supporting role in this movie.
The audio of Kavalar Kudiyiruppu was launched at the Four Frames Preview Theatre in Chennai. Hansraj Saxena of Sun Pictures launched the audio with filmmakers Ameer and Balaji Sakthivel receiving the first copies. James Vasanthan has scored music to the lyrics of Na. Muthukumar and Yughabharathi. The audio has been released by Sony BMG.
Kavalar Kudiyiruppu is based on the real life incidents post-Babri Masjid attack that took place in police headquarters of Bangalore.
