Chimbudevan tied the knot with Kalaivaani at a traditional wedding ceremony that took place at his native place Madurai on June 1.
Director Chimbudevan is popular for films including ‘Imsai Arasn 23 am Pulikesi’, ‘Arai Enn 305il Kadavul’ and ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’.
Director Shankar, Vairamuthu, directors Mahendran, Lingusamy, Balaji Sakthivel, Samudhrakani, Vasanthabalan, Prabhu Solomon, Jayam Raja, Pandiraj, Radha Mohan, Sasi, Ameer, Jananadhan Karu Pazhaniappan and G.V. Prakash graced the occasion with their presence.
One of the most heartening presences was that of master comedian Vadivelu, who played the lead in Chimbu’s directorial debut. Vadivelu hit big time after he turned hero with Chimbu’s Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikesi, the actor made it a point to attend the latter’s wedding at Madurai which is also his home town.
