Puravankara Projects Limited (PPL) has announced a mega housing project with an estimated project cost of over Rs 1,200 crore called ‘Purva Windermere’ which will come up at Pallikarnai, Chennai, close to Velachery.
According to Ravi Puravankara, chairman and MD, the project will spread over 54 acres of land and would consist of 2,072 units of 2 and 3 bedroom flats.
He said that three lakes surrounded the location, offering a luxurious view of a beautiful landscape.
Purvankara said that the project is located in the heart of the city and major locations such as Guindy, OMR and Airport are all accessible within a radius of 5 kms.
He said that Purva Windermere would be a high-end property with high-end fixtures, premium flooring, UPVC windows and high-end emulsion painting and will be a self contained township in itself with modern amenities like club house, squash courts, swimming pool, etc.
The company also said that the project would have provisions for other public amenities like malls, super markets and restaurants.
Company officials said that the water tables in the area have been found to be potable for human consumption and this would improve the availability of potable water for the entire project.
PPL already has one ongoing residential project in Chennai, ‘Purva Swanlake’, situated on OMR, which is under construction.
The Swanlake project of PPL consists of 600 apartments of 2 and 3 bedrooms, coming up on about 10.6 acres, at Kelambakkam in the IT corridor. Source: newindpress
