Talented K V Anand won the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHER Award for his very first film “ThenmaavinKombattu” (Malayalam Film). His second film Ayan was the highest box office grosser for the year 2009 and gave stardom to Suriya. His next film “Ko” created another box office record in both Tamil and Telugu. His films also received rave reviews from critics and loved by common public.
K V Anand’s new film “Maattrraan” along with the Suriya-Harris Jayaraj combination has raised the expectation bar to unprecedented level, on the threshold of creating history again in Tamil Cinema. Kajal Aggarwal is paired with Suriya in this film. The winning threesome of K V Anand and writers Suba has created another master piece.
The first look teaser of “Maattrraan’s” was welcomed globally and has raised huge expectation all over the world. It gives glimpses of director K V Anand’s extraordinary narration technique, the talent, hard work and dedication of versatile Suriya and yet again the chartbuster tunes of the legendary Harris Jayaraj. Shot at exotic locales, another trump card of K V Anand, with Peter Hein composing some never before attempted dare devil stunts Mattrraan, the story of conjoined twins promises to be a double thrill.
In recent times Tamil films have scored over technical excellence and content quality in the Indian film scene and with several first-time usage of state-of-the-art technology “Maattrraan” is all set to take Tamil films to the next much higher level.
In an attempt to reach out to the global Tamilians the audio launch of “Maatraan” is going to take place in SINGAPORE. The audio launch will take place on 09-08-2012 at EXPO HALL, SINGAPORE. This is only the beginning says K V Anand, giving hopes of more exciting things to come. The next promotions of “Maattrraan” will take place in various parts of the world to reach out Tamilians all over the world.
Harris Jayaraj has yet again scored mesmerizing music and songs in “Maattrraan” are also another reason for worldwide hit. Musical Genius Harris Jayaraj –Unplugged is a musical extravaganza with his team of singers Kathik, VijayaPrakash, Velmurugan, Haricharan, VijayBalakrishnan, MK Balaji, Suchitra, Sunitha Sarathy who will perform live at the audio launch function at Singapore. Lyricists Pa,Vijay, Na.Muthukumar, Karki, Viveka and Thamarai will also join the team.
To make the audio event more delightful at Singapore Dance Performances by celebrities like Anjali, Neetu Chandra, Poorna, Dhanshika, Julia Bliss (Russian artist who has performed in this film ) will light up the stage. Exclusively choreographed by Brinda Master it sure is going to be an evening to remember.

It is said that already the public are queuing up to collect their free special passes.
