Ultimate star Ajith Kumar starrer Billa which released on Friday Dec 14th is making huge success in terms if praise and money in the past 5 days from the 272 theatres it has been released in. ‘Billa’ has collected a record amount of Rs. 25 crores till now. The public opinion of Billa is good so far with Ajith being heaped with accolades for his performance in the film.
The original producer of Billa, Balaji watched the movie in a special show in Four Frames theatre in Chennai on December 15 and complimented the new unit of Billa for their good work. Another special show was organized on December 14th evening by Ajith in the Four Frames theatre for Vijay and his lovely wife Sangeetha, Surya and his brother Karthi, and few other friends. Ajith and Shalini played perfect hosts to the guests.
Pirates who wanted make the most of the limelight of Billa were caught by video piracy cell of CB-CID in Madurai. The pirated CD was caught in the Bhanu theatre in Madurai. The master CD is suspected to have been made in Singapore. R.Bhanu an operator at Bhanu theatre has been arrested in connection with this.
