The inaugural function of the World Book Fair in Thiruvananthapuram on October 28 was the place where Kamal Haasan’s Hey Ram and Mahanadhi screenplay in Malayalam was released.
The book titled “Kamalahaasanda Randu Thirakadhagal†has been published by DC Books and translated into Malayalam by famous writer Mr.Vishwananthan and released by notable writer T.Padmanabhan.
This is for the first time Tamil screenplays are being translated and released in Malayalam. DC Books is known for releasing works of eminent Malayalam writers. Meanwhile D.C Books is also keen on publishing a Malayalam translation of the Dasavatharam screenplay.
Speaking on the occasion Kamal said that he would like to build a house and spend his old age in beautiful Kerala surrounded by the beauty of nature.
