Initially, the film, after being in the making for nearly two years, was set to release on 6 June. But now the producer Oscar Ravichandran, who seems to be a very harried man these days, today said that the film would release either on 6 or 13 June. Ravichandran, however, wouldn’t confirm on the date. ‘You will shortly see an advertisement on that,’ he said rather cryptically.
The Madras High Court will tomorrow pronounce orders on the film on a petition filed by Vaishnavite organisations seeking changes of the title and deletion of some ‘objectionable scenes’.
