The shooting for K.S Ravikumar-directed Adhavan is happening in full swing with all its songs being currently picturized. The shooting started in Chennai and happened in Chettinad palace with all the main star cast including Surya, Sarojadevi, Nayantara and 200 other junior artists. A song choreographed by Gayathri Raghuram and vaali’s lyrics “Dekho dekho” was also shot here.
After Kuruvi, the second film from Red Giant Movies of Udhayanidhi Stalin is Aadhavan. Other cast include Vadivelu, Murali, Fefsi Vijayan, Ramesh Khanna, Shayaji Shindae, Rahul Dev, Anand Babu, Manobala and Erode Soundar.
Another song “Varoya varayo yen mololisa” which is choreographed by dinesh was picturised on Nayantara and Surya(lyrics by kabilan). The next song “masi masi” was shot in Darjeeling on Surya, Nayan, Murali, Sarojadevi and the lyrics for this is by Vaali and choreography by bhaskar song.
Most parts of the movie were shot in Kodaikanal for 15 days and a few scenes involving Suriya and Rahul Dev were shot in the busy streets of Kolkata and Delhi.
The song “Eno Eno Panithuli, Theno Palo Yeriyuthu Yeriyuthu Theepole” penned by Thamarai, will be the first Indian song to be shot in the scenic locales of Iceland. It joins the ranks of James bond movies “A View to Kill” and “Die another day” for shooting in Iceland.
