PATTA PATTY 50-50
AVR Talkies Pvt Ltd, in association with Flicker Studios, is producing a new film Patta Patty 50-50. This is a comedy film – a dizzy combo of romance and cricket. Former Test cricket Sadagopan Ramesh, who has bowled many maidens over on the field with his strokeplay and good looks, is the hero of this film.
Story:
Sadagopan Ramesh, who acts as a cricket coach in this movie, is on the way to his native place – a village. On the way, he has to stop at a village in Theni district and provide coaching to a cricket team which is taking part in a rural cricket tournament. Certain events overtake him. He also falls in love with Ranjitham (Harini – introduction) in the village. Circumstances force him to stay on in the village and he cannot leave it.
Thereafter, several events take place. The movie then becomes a breezy, romantic comedy.
The movie is being shot in picturesque locales of Theni district – Uppaarpatti, and surrounding areas of Chinnamannur, Periyakulam, Andipatti and Cumbum.
Both Sadagopan Ramesh and Harini are making their debut in the film. A highlight of the movie is that it will also feature 30 new faces. Mayilsamy makes a special appearance.
