‘Have you ever imagined about requesting the villagers to vacate their lands for 5 days to shoot a film?’ Naturally, it’s something more off an unimaginable question. Maybe, there are chances of getting scourged for putting forth a hard request.

But it has happened in reality as entire habitants vacated their village for the sake of filming. Yes, it happened in a village ‘Singaram Paalayam’ located near Kovai district (20Kms from Pollachi).
Director Bhuvanesh, who was awestruck with such humble gestures of villagers, says, “The Pandavas Kingdom got through intolerable vain during the phase of ‘Aaravadhu Vanam’ as they spent their lives like vagrants. In all likelihood, here happens to be a village that undergoes unbearable turmoil for the sake of ‘LOVE’.

‘It’s not a myth, but a real incident that shook the entire nation where entire village community vacated their lands for the sake young couple in love. Even today, we tend notice that the village is occupied by none other than this couple’ says director Bhuvanesh.

This film ‘Aaravadhu Vanam’ is completely based on this real incident. But the makers were patently disappointed when the couple dwelling in that village didn’t permit them to shoot the film over there. With no options, filmmaker Bhuvanesh and his crew finally zeroed down a village backdrop that suited well for this story.

But it wasn’t an easy task to approach the villagers pertaining to vacate their lands. At first, they were thrown into complete disorder on heeding to the film crew’s strange request and denied it. Off the late, the filmmaker explained the reason behind choosing the location with complete script. Apparently, as the villagers were drenched in deep feelings for the real incident, they accepted to vacate the village for next 5 days sans any second thoughts.

‘This scenario will never fade away from my memories forever as my eyes were soaked with tears on witnessing their gracious goodwill’ adds Bhuvanesh, who further cannot stop singing praises of producer Thyagarajan as he took care of villagers’ needs for the complete 5 days ensuring them comfortability.
Doubtlessly, this is the first time in the history of Tamil Cinema where such things haven’t happened before.

Bhuvanesh has been a long time associate of ace filmmakers Bhagyaraj and Parthiban. ‘Aaravadhu Vanam’ features famous Kannada actor Bhooshan and Vidya from God’s own country taking on lead roles.

Apart from wielding megaphone, filmmaker Bhuvanesh has handled story, screenplay and dialogues. The film is produced by Thyagarajan under the banner name of MPG Films International. Hari Babu makes his debut as a music director while Siyaan, whose close association with Hollywood’s Warner Bros is well known handles editing.
