As good as it sounds, it will be a treat if this becomes a reality. The current buzz is that Surya Amitabh and Mohanlal will team up together in a movie which will be directed by Major Ravi. The film will be based on the plane hijacking in Kandahar.
The film centers on the emotions of the people and rescue team involved in the hijacked plane. Surya will be donning the role of a commando involved in the rescue of the people. Major Ravi had earlier directed a film titled Aran that features Jeeva and Mohan Lal in lead roles.
The movie is said to be a multi-lingual being made in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. The project is said to hit the floors in June/July. There is no official confirmation from Surya’s camp on this yet.
