Rajesh Lakhoni, IAS will be the new Commissioner of Chennai Corporation.
According to an official release, the services of Mr.Lakhoni, who was hitherto Collector, Theni district are placed at the disposal of the Chennai Corporation for appointment as its Commissioner. He replaces M.P. Vijayakumar, IAS, posted as State Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan vice T.K. Ramachandran, IAS.
Har Sahay Meena, IAS, Additional Commissioner of Industries and Commerce is transferred and posted as Collector, Theni, vice Mr.Lakhoni. Ashish Chatterjee, IAS, Collector, Villupuram district is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply vice B. Chandramohan, IAS.
