Shooting of Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu’s(famous southindian film personality Mohan babu’s daughter) latest film “Maranthen Mannithen” was going on at river banks of Godavari in Chinchinada village. The shoot was going on at a 170-huts fishermen village set erected in 21 acres land. The unit was shooting the floods scenes with around 250 technicians and around 20-cameras set-up.
At around 12:45 midnight, water from reservoir was about to be released for a flood scene to be shot on Aadi and Lakshmi Manchu. The unit was ready to lift six gates for this flood scene. When The Director called for the shot and gates were lifted, Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu were dragged deep into the flood. The local fishermen reacted sharply and saved Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu who were already dragged towards the river by 400 feet.
Lakshmi Manchu is producing and acting in this movie. Kumar Nagendra makes his debut as director. Tapsee and Sundeep Kishan are also acting in this movie.
