Indian Bank and GKM Club won the titles in the men’s and women’s sections respectively in the Vulture Volleyball Club’s State-level floodlit tournament which concluded here on Sunday.
In the final, Indian Bank defeated ICF 25-14, 25-19, 25-17 while GKM beat St Joseph’s College of Engineering 26-24, 17-25, 29-27. The men’s winner received Rs. 50,000 as cash award while the women’s winner picked Rs. 25,000.
S. Ramasundaram, Chairman, TTTCO, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Commissioner of Income Tax, and Ravi, Jt Commissioner of Police (North Chennai), jointly distributed the prizes.
