Music Director Chandra Bose Passes Away Gallery

Popular Tamil film music director Chandra Bose passed away on Thursday. He was 60. Mr Chandrabose scored music for more than 120 films in Tamil and Telugu.

Chandra Bose got his first n break as singer and music director in 1977, when he recorded Yendi Muthamma for M S Viswanathan. In the same year, he was introduced as a composer by director V C Guhanathan through Madhurageetham.

Chandrabose had been suffering from liver and kidney ailments the last few months and was admitted to a city hospital after slipping into a coma. He died at the hospital.

Several film personalities including Music legend M S Viswanathan paid their homage to Chandra Bose.

He was survived by two wives, Rajeshwari and Geetha and kids, Santhosh, Vinod and Gouri.
