Baana Kaathadi depicts the life of an urban youth who represent the lower strata of the social ladder. For him flying kite is his life. For long the uder belly of the society is picturised as a dirty eerie evil place with unintresting people always indulging in unethical activities.
With almost 90% of the film complete, the team has just completed shooting in the International Kite Festival held at Gujarat. Its the first ever Tamil film to be shot amidst thousands of kite fliers.
