Actor Ajith kumar is being called the real life hero who spoke what was in everyones mind at the recently held Kollywood get-together for honouring our CM Karunanidhi.
The film industry people have been asked to take a stand in various political and social issues. This needs to be out their free will and should not be a forced effort. Be it the Cauvery issue or the Sri Lankan issue film industry has been actively participating in these issues. When some of the actors and actresses from the film industry do not attend such a event, they are immediately cornered.
Thala Ajith during his speech said that he was at the meet out of his free will to salute the great effort put in by Kalainger Karunanidhi for the uplift of the people. However he appealed to the CM to ask the film personalities not to interfere with sensitive and political issues. Some of the actors/actresses were only intrested in acting and were lending their support to these sensitive issues only under extreme pressure.
Ajith’s speech was so well received that Superstar Rajinikanth stood up to applaud him followed by everyone in the film industry. Many popular young actors/actress/singers have even left messages in their facebook and twitter accounts called Thala Ajith Kumar a real life hero.
Chief Minister Karunanidhi on his part appealed to all the film fraternity not to mix art and politics and that they should never be forced into making political stands.
