We are aware that Rajini’s Shivaji is hitting the screens across the world on the 15th of June. What we may not be aware is that this has caused apprehensions among several others producers who were looking forward to release the movie in June.
Chief among them would be Sujatha films who were planning to release the Ajith starrer Kireedom in June.
The producers originally planned to release the movie in June anticipating that Shivaji would be released at least by the beginning of May and there would be a space of at least a month before they could release their movies.
But now all that has changed and the producers are in a quandary whether to release their movies in June at all. Even if they decide to go ahead with the release as planned, it will be a difficult task for them to get quality theatres to screen the movie as almost all the major theatres in the state have decided to screen Shivaji and have made arrangements accordingly.
