The musical trio of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa rocked chennai in their concert “A Commitment”, organised by the Shakti Foundation on November 17th at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai.
They crooned all the superhits from their musical compositions of Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Shankar also sang some Tamil songs. Another singer Aakruti also sang some popular numbers.
In a press meet held before the concert Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy said they will undertake two Tamil projects in the near future and we’ll get to know about it (Tamil projects) when it is announced.
The proceeds of the concert would go towards quality medical equipment for the underprivileged. Shakti foundation is an NGO, dedicated to champion the cause of the physically challenged.
