Legendary editor TR Sekar passed away at the age of 81. TR Sekar funeral will take place at 5 PM, today, March 22 in Trichy. TR Sekar is survived by his wife Sundari and three daughters – Deepa Lakshmi, Thilakavathy and Nithya.
TR Sekar has been the most celebrated editor of Indian film industry with his realms in the industry for 50 years with 200 films. He won the first Kerala State Government award for his movie ‘Onnu Mudhal Poojyam Varai’ starring Mohanlal in lead role. Sekar first Tamil Nadu State Government Award was for Varusham 16. Sekar last movie as editor was director Siddiqui’s Saadhu Miranda.
