Its the third time the title has been changed for this movie. The Vijay-Asin starrer movie directed by Siddique has undergone another name change and has been currently rechristened Kaavalan.
The movie was initially named as Kaavalkaran but since the original title holders of MGR film did not part with the rights of the title the film title was changed to Kaaval Kadhal. Vijay was not very comfortable with the title and had been looking out for another suitable title for the film.
Finally the title Kaavalan was suggested and was liked by Vijay and the whole crew. Vijay and Asin are pairing up for the movie Kaavalan which will be directed by Siddique. The movie is a Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit Bodygaurd which starred Dileep and Nayantara.
