The launch of GSLV-F02 carrying India’s communication satellite INSAT-4CR scheduled for September 1, has been rescheduled by a day owing to inclement weather and will now blast off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota on September 2, according to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) sources.
“The launch is scheduled for 4.21 p.m.,” the sources told reporters here today.
ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair said on Monday inclement weather may force the postponement of the launch.
