Cinema Today Exhibition – 2010
We would like to invite you for the inauguration of the 4th edition of Cinema Today 2010 exhibition ( 23, 24 & 25th July) at Chennai Trade Centre. It is Asia’s biggest show for the complete Cinema, Television, Broadcast & Entertainment industry. Chennai is playing host to such an event the likes of which are only held in USA and European countries. Technology and products introduced world over will be showcased in this expo.
This year the show promises to be bigger and better. Special focus will be on digital revolution in film making and broadcasting, 3D technology, special effects, makeup, advancements in animation & visual effects live professional sound & light demonstrations. The expo, supported by industry associations will play a vital role in taking the industry to the next level.
Some of the highlights of the expo are:
- Anand Cine Service has tied up with ARRI to launch the 1st ALEXA in India. ARRI ALEXA is the latest model in a new generation of digital cameras for feature, television, commercial, documentary, music video production and more. Demonstrations and workshops are also being planned during the event.
- QUANTEL will demonstrate Pablo – ultimate color correction solution for HD, 2k, 4k and stereoscopic 3D
- Panasonic will demonstrate their latest Tape less Camera-Recorder for Professional HD/SD multi-format recording
- Scorpio – the unique Versatile Telescopic Crane will be on display.
- Kryolan workshop on Special Effects Makeup by the renowned makeup artist, Ms.Samantha Peluso from Italy.
- Motion Analysis (USA) & Accel Animation Studio the only studio having the Motion Capture Studio Setup in India will demonstrate their facility for the first time in Chennai.
- Conference & Seminar by technical experts on CGI-VFX ( animation & special effects)
- Short Film Awards
Above all we are attempting a “World Record for the Longest and Continuous signature Campaign Saluting Dr.Kalaignar” for his contribution to the Film Industry for nearly 70 long years. This programme is supported by South Indian Cinematographers Association and Tamilnadu Video and Photographers association.
