Shaam, one of the talented Tamil actors is turned as a saleable hero in Telugu after the stupendous success of Kick (later it remade as Thillalangidi in Tamil with Jayam Ravi and Shaam played the same role that he done in Telugu!).

Recently his second movie Kathi was hit the screens and Shaam’s role got good reviews from critics.

The Tamil actor is now acting two films simultaneously in Telugu. One is Veera, in which he shares the screen space with none other than Ravi Teja who gave a good platform to him in Kick. Directed by Ramesh Varma, Shaam is doing a cop role. Tapsi is his lead lady and Ravi Teja does the role of Shaam’s security.

Another movie in Shaam’s hand is Kshethram. In this film, Shaam got a promotion as solo hero for the first time in Telugu. Priyamani is shaking legs with Shaam for this movie.

Speaking about his future projects both in Tamil as well as in Telugu, Shaam says, “Ravi Teja is the person who helped me a lot to get a status in Telugu cinema. I’m always calling him as my brother. It is not just a courtesy word. He is really taking care of me like my elder brother and helping me a lot. We not only sharing food and screen space, but also good relationship. I’m always thankful to him for his helping tendency and gesture.

In Tamil, I got a flying start with superhit films. But unfortunately I couldn’t travel in the same track continuously. But now I realised a lot and got some maturity in selecting films and my roles. Now I’m doing only one Tamil movie, directed by V Z Durai.

At this juncture, I’m assuring that in future the Tamil and Telugu fans will see a different Shaam in different genre of movies.”
