What is ALPS.INC ?

ALPS.INC is the parent company and the source of quality defined playschool, activity centre and day care centre in the city. The company’s whole and sole goal is to provide value based, fun – filled platforms which enrich lives of each ‘lil one and parents, taking care to see that quality remains superior to quantity at all times.

ALPS.inc looks into growing from strength to strength, and envisages to diversify into a multitude of arenas to create an ideal place not just for the lil’ ones but the larger section of society too.
ALPS.INC – THE FORCE…
POOJA Shah, PUJA Gupta and RICHA Tikmani are the force behind ALPS.inc. Each of these three Directors’ attained formal training in the Montessori or the Early Childhood Education, and now govern all administrative and formal aspects of the playschools, the day care centres and the activity centres. After having conceived and conceptualized the entire project, they turned their dream into a reality and so ALPS.inc was borne on the 4th of APRIL 2006.
Their sole objective was to provide schools, day cares, and hobby places’ that kids would look forward to go to and love to be in. It’s no surprise then that the academy for ‘lil people is not far from that objective. One look at alps, and its bright colors, lush green frontal and warmly tucked porch speak for itself. The ambience is so enduring that no kid wants to leave this space, while every adult wants to be a child again. Each and every room has been carefully thought of, planned and executed. Attention to every minute detail has been looked into. While the building and its interiors-exteriors are just the framework of this envisaged reality, the soul of the school are its curriculae, its teachers and all its technical facilities, which go through constant re-vamping from time to time to suit the needs of each new batch that is welcomed with open arms into alps.
ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS…
ALPS.inc involves itself in offering a multitude of activities for children of all ages.
The ALPS ALPEROONI ACTIVITY CENTRE
The centre offers an array of seasonal after school activity classes and workshops for children from the ages of 2 – 10 yrs. This is an enticing forum where creative learning meets physical tactic. All activities are conducted by visiting teachers, proficient in their respective fields. To suit the needs of all children, the centre has bracketed the programmes age wise so that all the l’il ones visiting the centre, can avail and gain from the custom made schedule . These extra curriculars come in options of monthly packages or daily sign ins’ only to accommodate and benefit children from all sections and varsities considering their grilling schedules and time constraints.
ALPS DAY CARE…
ALPS.inc has recently ventured into THE DAY CARE CENTRE, which caters to providing a home away from home for kids of working parents. At the centre, we have developed an environment around the idea that quality childhood care and education should be homelike. We totally understand the role-playing of the centre in nurturing
and educating the children through the development of trust, security and loving relationships. Our experienced staff is dedicated to making your child’s time at alps full of love, learning and fun each and every day.
THE “academy for líl people” PLAYSCHOOL…
ALPS.inc brings to you, academy for ‘lil people or alps which is a parent / child education academy that offers age appropriate classes for children from 1 – 4.5 years of age.
The academy for ‘lil people or alps philosophy…
At the academy, we believe in achievement-oriented goals through balanced Programming. This includes an array of seasonal activities combined with neuron ticking curricula; where physical tactic meets creative learning.
Our ultimate target is to prepare the child for the many challenges they will face as they continue to develop. This can only be achieved if the child thoroughly relishes, retains and treasures each experience at alps. We have therefore synchronized all these collective experiences under one philosophy which we have termed as the “Seat of experience”
At every step, the child is of utmost importance and we always make the child the center of all thoughts; not forgetting how children derive pleasures out of the simpler things in life.

E-CLUB- A multi-sensory approach to English-learning for beginner
This is a revolutionary programme for children, incorporating hands-on learning with multimedia. A dynamic teaching learning system for children from playschool to 5th grade. It has received prestigious best e-learning solution award from the UNITED NATIONS, “WORLD SUMMIT AWARD” (WSA) and the “BESSIE AWARD” for EARLY ELEMEMTARY SOLUTION (EFL)
alps offers’ programmes’ which are age and need specific.
…Under the “Seat of experience”, we believe that each child is unique and different in his/her own respect and individual attention to such details is of utmost importance. But again, isolating a child from his/her peer is not what we seek. Instead we trust giving space and independence; and a friendly environment as an effort to introduce social skills.
Following this rule we have maximised a classroom with 6 children only at the “Prima or younger level” and upto 12 children at the “Bridge or upper level” .
“Prima level”
At the “prima” or younger level, alps gives parents a platform to be actively involved in their child’s development and spend quality time with their children. There is nothing quite as rewarding as being actively involved in you’re ‘lil one’s precious growing years! But all this is done with the help and guidance of qualified Instructors.
• BUTTERFLIES – AGES 1.5 – 2 yrs – thrice a week
This is a parent-child programme that creates an opportunity for the parent to spend quality time with the child. Through this, the parent gets to witness and cherish every achievement of the child. The Curriculae aims at overall development of the child, so all factors of mental, physical and emotional are of prime focus. Qualified and trained instructors guide and assist the parent to understand the cause and benefit of each process and activity.
“Bridge level”
At the “bridge” or older level, children experience an entirely new meaning of their first school years. While the focus is to develop the child’s capacity in every aspect before starting primary school, the methodology is a combination of the Play Way and the Montessori.
• PLAYSCHOOL 1 – AGES 2 – 2.6 yrs – all week days
• PLAYSCHOOL 2 – AGES 2.6 – 3 yrs – all week days
The child attends alps independently for duration of 2- 21/2 hrs and is encouraged to participate in all the activities of the day pertaining to weekly concepts and themes. The curriculae includes essentials like computers, outdoor field visits, functional and fun based learning modules. Audio-Visuals are an important aid in imparting ideas across to the child.
• NURSERY – AGES 3 – 4 yrs – all week days
The Child attends alps independently and participates in a time- table based curriculae, which now concenterates on the finer points and intensive details of all themes and areas that a child this age is required to know. G.K is an essential part of this course. Alphabet recogonition, Phonetics, Sand and Slate tracing, Pattern drawing, Finger excercises and Muscle strengthening, Math, Computers and Science- all become a part of an everyday routine. Practical experience meets every aspect of Classroom study and children are introduced to a gigantic new world to discover, experience and imbibe.
