A South-based company is all set to launch an English 24-hour real estate TV channel from July 23 in India as well as Middle East and South East Asia. The channel will focus on real estate and the other industries related to it.

TO CASH IN on the boom in the real-estate sector, a Rs 4400 crore South-based company is coming up with a 24-hour  Real Estate TV channel from July 23.

Being promoted by Alliance group, which has major projects in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Mysore, this TV channel would be available across all platforms in India. The TV channel has been put together on the advice and guidance of well-known media personality Sashi Kumar by a team of seasoned professional led by COO T K Vibhaker.

This niche free-to-air channel will be available on both DTH and cable platforms across the country and in the Middle East and South East Asia to begin with. The pan-India English-language channel, sources say, will be started with an investment of Rs 100 crore. It would largely cater to the real-estate sector and dish out all property-centric programmes.

“It will provide comprehensive, latest and authentic updates on all aspects of real estate. Besides catering to Indian viewers it will also focus on South and South-East Asian region and Gulf states, where there is a strong NRI presence,” inform officials.

With news bureaus, state-of-the-art studios in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata, a wide information-gathering network across India, and a dedicated research and analysis facility in Delhi, ‘Real Estate TV’ will be a one-stop shop for anything and everything related to real estate industry and other industries directly or indirectly associated with it. .

By following the emerging trends more closely and keeping a track on all important happenings in this important sector, the niche channel, the promoters say, will become the most authoritative and sought-after source for real estate information and analysis.
