The great director Mani Ratnam was admitted to Apollo Hospital today after he complained of dizziness and some uneasiness. After running several tests, the doctors at the Apollo declared that there is nothing to worry about and that it was all an effect of working relentlessly; other than this, Mani Ratnam is in excellent health condition assured the doctors. It looks like Mani Ratnam will stay in the hospital for a day to undergo routine checkup, which was long due, as well.
The 52-year-old director is directing a bilingual film with actors Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Priyamani and Prithviraj. The director recently shot several scenes of this film in remote jungles of Uttar Pradesh and also in small towns near Kolkotta. The director is under heavy pressure to shoot continuously to make best use of the dates allotted by Aishwarya Rai, who is also busy with Shankar’s Enthiran (opposite Rajinikanth).
