This year saw most of our Tamil stars welcoming New Year not in our country but abroad.
Vijay and Trisha, had the New Year bash in Malaysia, where they are staying for the shooting of ‘Kuruvi’. The newly married Srikanth who is stepping into the new year with wife Vandana celebrated it in Malaysia. Another newlywed Jeeva who is on a honeymoon with his wife in Australia welcomed the New Year there. Nayanthara was in Bangkok and Madhavan along with his family welcomed the New Year in USA.
Stars Asin, Shreya and Malavika had the New Year celebrations in Mumbai, while Bhavana and Gopika had it in Trisoor and Kochi respectively. Super star Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan brought in the New Year in Chennai.
