Today, early morning ( Monday, October 8 ) Nayanthara flew from Chennai to KL, in Malaysia to complete the shoot of Vishnuvardhan’s Billa. In fact, the actress was busy shooting on a Sunday for Yaradi Ne Mogini in the morning and later joined the Sathyam in the afternoon till wee hours of Monday morning and from the set she rushed straight to the airport!
Nayan is all excited to shoot the song which is a re-mix of the famous Vettila pakku..( a Tamil version of one of the most popular song of 70’s- Khaike Paan Benaras wala… from the original Don) song picturised on Rajnikanth,chewing paan in Billa.
Now for Billa-2007, the original Vettilapakku.. written by the immortal Kannadasan and tuned by the legendary MSV, has been re-mixed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is going to be picturised on Ajit and Nayan like a funky music video by ace choreographer Kalyan under the supervision of Vishnuvardhan, the guy who knows the heartbeats of today’s generation next.
Earlier Ananda Suresh the producer of Billa had approached the Tamil Film Producers Council and complained that Nayantara was refusing to give dates to complete this song! But when Nayan came to know about it, she was shocked as she had given pucca dates to the producer who was not able to shoot the song in the last schedule in Malayasia, due to technical reasons.
And once the given dates were over, she could not extend her call sheet as she had to rush to Cape Town in South Africa for the song shoot of the Telugu film Thulasi with Venkatesh.
Nayan, the complete professional had gone out of her way to adjust dates from her other producers to find time to finish the Billa song and a few scenes so that the film will make it to the theatres for Diwali!
