The current trend now in the Tamil film industry is the onus on the supporting lead actors!!! The content of the script demands these powerful pillars to hold the script tight and there are very few who strive on it too . The young , hot , hand some hunk Ganesh Venkatraman strives to excel in such roles , be it his introductory film ‘Abiyum nanum’ , his next with Kamal hasan and Mohanlal in ‘Unnai pol oruvan’, his ready to release projects ‘ Theeya velai seiyanum kumaru ‘ and ‘Chandra ‘ or the film under progress ‘ Ivan vera mathiri’ with Vikram prabhu , directed by ‘Engeyum eppothum ‘ Saravanan and produced by Lingusamy , he has cornered attention with his dedicated committed hard work and needless to say with his looks too !!!
The actor has got a few valid points to support on his choice of roles…he says ‘ It is very difficult to come across a good script , that too in the combination of a good director and good production house . i go by that instinct and further more i always believe that until the day comes when the films run on my name , my name has to be on the films that run …it is not a management slogan , but a ‘ must do ‘ for any new aspirant in the industry . i don’t read too much into the footage of the character i play but read too much into the intensity of the role i play . I push myself to display difference in every role i play in each film and i am sure this will mark my presence among the masses. As my name and face becomes house hold i am sure i will get scripts that offers me the lead .Though i was born and brought up in Mumbai now i have immersed myself in the culture and the language of Tamil Nadu.I am proud to be a major part of this film ‘Theeya velai seiyanum kumaru’ and iam sure it will take me to every nook and corner of the state and adds ‘ This film had instigated the much required fire inside me and i it will rocket me to glory ‘ .
