The official theatrical release date for Demonte Colony 3 (marketed with the chilling tagline “The End is Too Far”) has just been locked for September 11, 2026. Written and directed by franchise creator R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, this third installment is being mounted on a much larger, global scale.
While the original 2015 cult classic kept audiences trapped in a single, claustrophobic Chennai room, Demonte Colony 3 is blowing the doors off the franchise mythology.
The story directly continues the dark, multi-generational curse linked to the infamous spirit of John Demonte. This time, the dark energy focuses around a mysterious book of demonic worship and a sinister figure known as “The Librarian” (Alphonse Gerald), played by a menacing Guru Somasundaram.
