Prakash Raj’s duet movies production Payanam will hit screens on February 11th. Payanam film directed by Radha Mohan. Nagarjuna is playing a commando and Prakash Raj is doing the role of a bureaucrat from the Prime Minister’s Office with an agenda to negotiate a peaceful release. Actress Sana Khan plays a passenger. Payanam film also be released in Telugu with the title Gaganam – Fasten your seat belts.
Payanam movie which is about the infamous Kandahar Hijack of the Indian Airlines Flight 814 hijack in the year 1999 demanded a series of sequences to be shot at an airport. However, the script has been changed to bring in a local flavor. In Payanam movie, a flight from Chennai is hijacked and force landed in Tirupati by terrorists.
The film does not have any songs, and background music is scored by Praveen Mani. Payanam movie got a clean U certificate by the Censor Board.
