After experiencing success in Germany, UK, Japan, Singapore and several other countries, Britain’s leading re- school physical play programmed — Tumble Tots – has launched its first centre here, and is already a hit with kids and their parents.

The programmed divided into three segments namely Gym babes, Tumble Tots and Gym bobs cater to children between the age group of six months to seven years.

Gym babe is meant for children aged six months till they start talking. This helps them to use their senses. Tumble Tots is for children who start going to school. It encourages them to climb, jump and participate in simple activities which stimulate body wariness.

Gym bobs is meant for children up to seven years where they have to work with and without equipment and acquainted to team work.

Parents have welcomed the programmed, and feel it would be a good development tool for children.

“It gives a good exposure for kids to play with other kids and also play with equipments which are not in normal school. In school, they teach rhymes but here along with studies, they also earn how to play. So, it’s a good exposure,” said Smitha.

“Children of this age need lot of exercise. They need a lot of opportunity to actually play. Not only for body but because researches have actually shown that it also helps in connective development of child,” said Mike Lim, Managing Director, Tumble Tots (Asia-Pacific).

The equipments have been specially designed to meet child-related requirements. The fee charged will be rupees 990 per month, and here will be four weekly classes. The duration of each class is f 45 minutes.

Started in the UK in 1979, Tumble Tots was founded by Bill, a former coach of the British Olympics gymnastics team. (ANI)
