Sridevi has refused act in a Tamil film

Yesteryear dream girl Sridevi has refused an offer to act in a Tamil film to be directed by Shakthi Chidambaram.

Shakthi Chidambaram directed the movie Charlie Chaplin with Prabhu and Prabhu Deva playing the lead.

Impressed by the movie Sridevi had asked her husband Boni Kapoor to make the movie in Hindi and recommended that Shakthi direct the movie.

Following this Chidambaram agreed to do the movie in Hindi and he was recently in Mumbai to discuss the movie. During his visit he had asked BoniÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s permission to let Sridevi act in his forthcoming movie with Sundar C in the lead.

But unfortunately Boni told him Sridevi was fully involved with her family life and was not interested in doing movies. A disappointed Shakthi Chidambaram returned to Chennai and has signed on Nadiya to do the role.
