Remake of Sigappu Rojakkal

Actor son Manoj of famous director Bharathiraja is going to be remaking his father’s blockbuster movie Sigappu Rojakkal. The original Sigappu Rojakkal featured Kamal Haasan and Sri Devi in lead roles and produced by KRG.

The father-son duo have been working on the script for this remake and will be shoting this movie in the Hollywood style. Manoj has been assisting renowned directors like Mani Ratnam and Shankar and gaining experiance.

Sigappu Rojakkal is a superhit movie in which Kamal Haasan is a psychologically affected man who sexually assults women, kills them and bury’s them under red rose bushes in the backyard.
