‘Chiyaan’ Vikram and Director Vijay were at the 16th Busan International Film Festival 2011 held at Busan, South Korea between 6th to 14th October 2011.
The film festival screened number of newly released Korean films as well as unsung masterpieces from all over Asia. For the festival, “Deivathirumagal” was selected and both Vikram and Vijay were invited to attend the screening of the film. Both were given the red carpet welcome. There were two screenings of the film and both were hugely received and Vikram was mobbed by the audience on both the occasions. Overall, it was a memorable festival and great recognition for this great film.
