Producer Kathiresan of Five Star Movies made all heads turn and look up to him with his venture Polladhavan released a few years ago. Directed by Vettrimaran, the movie featuring Dhanush went on to become a huge hit besides winning critical acclaims. Meanwhile he scaled greater heights as producer thanks to his next venture Aadukalam. The trio of Kathiresan – Vettrimaran and Dhanush managed to recreate their magic in a bigger way.
The film won six awards at the 58th National Film Awards, including the awards for Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Actor. Besides it was selected to be screened at various international film festival winning as much as 90 awards from across the globe.
Now Kathiresan is all back with a bang, in a bigger way promising quality entertainers. He has lined up a couple of films including one with his lucky mascot Dhanush. Kathiresan is producing Nayyandi starring Dhanush. Directed by National-award winner Sargunam, it stars Nazriya oposite Dhanush.
Besides he has managed to bring Pizza fame Karthik Subburaj in his hut. He will be wielding the megaphone for an yet-to-be-titled film to be made in a huge budget starring Siddharth for Five Star Movies. Interestingly it is a bi-lingual.Search is on for heroine and rest of the cast.
