Thala and Bruna – What’s common?
Bruna Abdulla the lead actress of the film Billa II says that shooting with a superstar like Ajith has been one of her most memorable experience so far. ‘He is so kind and so considerate’, she says ‘he makes you feel very comfortable and is always jovial’. ‘He has such a fantastic sense of humor and always made us laugh on the sets’. Bruna herself is known to have a very good sense of humor and from what we hear from reliable sources is an extremely loveable person. With both Thala and Bruna we are sure it must have been a laugh riot on the sets where even the director, that the picture we have got from our source shows, had no choice but to laugh off all that seriousness once in a while.
Thala Goes behind the Camera
Thala we all know loves photography and can never resist an interesting chance to be behind the camera. During the shooting of Billa II, in Goa, we have learnt from our sources thala could not resist one such chance during an action sequence and went behind the camera to try his hand at it. R.D. Rajasekar, the director of photography for Billa II, was more than happy to guide thala through the shot.
The Director of Billa II choreographs over 300 extras
We hear from reliable sources that Chakri Toleti the director of Billa II choreographed over 300 extras for a crucial sequence in the film during one of its schedule’s in Goa. This was a group of mostly Russian and German extras who, due to their lack of fluency in Indian Languages, had to actually be explained their part by nearly enacting before them every shot. Shooting with these extras was over two days the director took it upon himself to enact nearly all their shots before them. The shoot we hear involved a lot of fire blowing stunts by professional performers and what also came out was Thala’s complete and absolute concern even for the junior most artists. Thala took it upon himself to check personally all fire safety apparatus and measures that were in place for the shoot.
