There are reports that this year’s most eagerly awaited wedding could now take place next month.

According to sources, the Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai wedding will be held in Mumbai on April 20. The much-awaited wedding of Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will take place on April 20 and will be a small family affair.

“The families met and the decision was taken on Monday. The wedding will be a small private affair with only close family and friends in attendance and it will be held at the Bachchans residence in suburban Juhu,” said a source.

The venue will in all probability be Amitabh Bachchan’s Mumbai home Jalsa and the wedding will have a very select guest list. Exclusive rights to cover the wedding have reportedly been sold to a foreign production house.

Media speculation on the wedding date has been high ever since the couple got engaged on January 14.
