‘Ivan Megharoopan’
A period movie, inspired from the life of renowned Malayalam poet – Sri. P Kunjiraman Nair (popularly known as Mahakavi P.) Ivan Megharoopan marks the directoral debut of P. Balachandran – a popular script writer of Malayalam film industry.
Male lead : Prakash Bare – (plays the role resembling the poet)
Female lead : Anu – (plays Thankamani – a folk singer, a strong woman character, paring the male lead)
P Balachandran is one of the most versatile personality of malayalam literature, cinema and the theatre scene. He has written and directed many plays in Malayalam and acted in few films. He penned the script for well acclaimed films like Pavithram, Uladakkam, Thacholi Varghese Chekavar, Uncle Bun, Punaradhivasam,etc.
